WARREN -FULLER
j On last Sunday morning at 9:30
o'clock, at too residence of the
brides parents, there was a quiet but
beautiful wedding and the contract
ing parties launch out on the matri
monial sea with the best wishes of
hosts of admiring friends.
At the hour above mentioned
Capt. C B Wairen was made the
happy benedict and Miss Grace Ful
ler was made his bride. Rev. Guy
ton Fisher performed the ceremony
in his usual impressive manner, and
the sacred vows were taken with
great solemnity. Immediately after
the ceremony the happy eotiule left
for Hawkinsville where they will re
main a few days when they will go
to Macon.
Capt. Warren is a son of Gen. Joe
Warren, of Savannah, lie has for a
long time been a part of- Abbeville,
although lie claims Hawkinsville as
his home. He is one of the leading
young lawyers of Wiregrass Georgia
and is prominent in political circles,
he is past G rand Chancellor of the
Knights of Pythias of Georgia, and
is the youngest man ever elected to
that high ofiiee. Mr. Warren is now
taking high rank as a military man
and there is no more popular or ef
ficient captain iu Company L Third
regiment United States volunteers,
which are now encamped at Macon.
Miss Grace is a daughter of Rev,
O V Fuller, one of Abbeville’s best
citizens, and is one of our most
charming women, cultured in a high
degree, with the most winning jnan
uers which endeared her to all.
No social 1 unction has caused so
much general satisfaction and con
gratulation as the above in the his
tory of Abbeville, and the many
friends of the groom extend to lum
their fervent wish for his success in
life and a safe journey through the
Spanish lines.
The Chronicle extends to them
its best wishes and congratulations
tor their future and hopes that when
the cruel war is over it will be Gen.
not Capt. Warren.
