Death of Dr. W. L. Thompson.
Dr, Thompson, of Fitts, after an
illness of three weeks duration with
malarial fever, succumbed to the
heavy hand of death last Saturday the
3rd inst. His death was a great
shock to a large community. He
was a fine physician, a lionlu man
and a fast friend. He was a mem
ber of the Knights of Pythias, Ro
clielie Lodge. His remains were
carried to Bishop, Oconee county,
for burial in flic family burial
ground and was accompanied by a
delegation from his lodge and
reached Bishop on Monday the 5th,
where it was interred in presence of
a host of friends and relatives.
