A Theft..
Mr. li E L Edenfiekl spent several
days of this and last week in the
city. He intended leaving last Fri
day night for Cordele, aiql with that
intention went to the depot.

depot to procure a ticket. Oh Ids
return there was no valise to be
found. He offered.a reward- fon the
valise and on Saturday evening was
approached by. a little negro,, who
offered to show-him. where the valise
was secreted. The valise was se
cured, but on its being opened it was
found to be minus several
and $18.00 in money. The negro
nas arrested and ton Monday morn

guily. implicating another
who took as his part of the boodle,
the money and with it made

swift to the law breaker when, he ap
