A COWARDLY MURDER.
Lewis M Ashley shot his wife
death in Savannah last

IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA TOO.
The new cotton disease that lias

CLEVELAND’S ADDRESS AT
PRINCETON.
Ex-President Cleveland delivered
an address to the students of Prince
ton University last Thursday, in
which he paid high tribute to the
life and character of otu murdered
President, and exhorted the students
to emulate it. The distinguished
speaker also urged that colleges and
universities to lend their aid and in
fluence to crush the hydra-headed
monster, anarchy. The address was
concluded with the following sen
tence: “By the memory of our
Martyred President, let us resolve
to cultivate and treasure the quali
ties that made him great and useful,
and let us determine to meet the call
of patriotic duty iu every time of
our country’s danger or need.”
OIL FOUND AT ALBANY AT DEPTH
