DYNAMITERS FLAYED BY
SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE
Atlanta, Nov. B.—“lf we cannot put
a stop to it(dynamiting street cars)
we have reached a pericd of anarchy,
free institutions are a failure and the
time is ripe for the coming of a man
on horse back.”
With these words Judge Ben H.
11ill, of Fulton superior court, conclu
ded a ringing charge Monday morn
ging to the November grand jury on
the acts of violence growing out of
Ethe street car strike.
. “Never before in the history of the
county,” said Judge Hill, “were we in
such need of upright, experienced, in
telligent and fearless jurors hoth
‘grand and petit. Almost every night,
according to the newspapers, acts of
Jawlessness are committed causeless,
butal and cruel acts of lawlessness.
| “A great deal has been said about
enforcement of the law. The whole
matter lingers on the grand and petit
ijurors. Crimes go unpunished because
the jury will not convict.”
