FLUSH YOUR KIDNEYS OCCASION
ALLY IF YOU EAT MEAT REG
ULARLY.
No man or weman who eats meat
regularly can make a mistake by
Flushing the kidneys occasionally, says
a well-known authority. Meat forms
uric aeid which clogs the kidney pores
so they 'sluggishly filter or strain on
1y part of the waste and poisons from
the blood, then you get sick. Nearly
all rheumatism, headaches, liver trou
ble. nervousness, constipation, dizzi
ness, sleeplessness, bladder disorders
come from sluggish kidneys.
The moment you feel a dull ache in
ihe kidneys or your back hurts or if
the urine is cloudy, offensive, full
of sediment, irregular of passage or
attended by a sensation of scalding,
got abeut four ounces of Jad Salts
rrom any reliable pharmacy and take
a tablespoonfwl in a glass of water
before breakfast for a few days and
vour kidneys will then act fine. This
famous salts is made from the acids
of grapes and lemon juice, combined
with lithia and has been used for
generations to flush clogged kidneys
and stimulate them to activity, also
to ncutralize the acids in urine so it
no longer causes irritation, thus end
ng bladder disorders.
Jad Salts is inexpensive and can
not injure; makes a delightful effer
vescent lithia water drink which all
regular meat eaters should take now
and then to keep the Kkidneys clean
and the bloocd pure, thereby avoiding
gerious kidney complications.

WAGON DRIVER MUST MOVE
WHEN STREET CAR COMES
Atlanta, Nov. 10.—When a street
car and a wagon get in each other’s
way, which of tke two shall stop or
give the road? .
Propounded to Recorder George E.
Johnson of this city, the above ques
tion has just been decided in. this
wise:
“Inasmuch as the street car cannot
lecave its tracks, the wagon must
move.”
} The question came up in connec
ticn with a wagon driver's prosecu
tion of a motorman in recorder’s
ceurt for side-swipping his wagon.
The recorder held that the driver
should have gotten out of the way.
WHO MUST PAY INJURED
WHEN CAR IS DYNAMITED?
Atlanta, Nov. 10.—Can a street rail
way company be held responsible for
personal injuries sustained by a pas
senger from the explosion of dyna
mite under a trolley car?
The guestion has been raised in this
city in consequence of the injury of
several persons on street cars, includ
ing a number of women, and Atlanta
lawyers are discusssing it with much
interest.
Some of them hold to the view that
a common carrier is required by law
to exercise extraordinary care and
diligence for the protection of its pas
sengers, and therefore a company
would be liable; while others hold
that the emplovment of special depu
ties complies with this requirement of
the law.
