TAKE SALTS AT FIRST SIGN OF
ELADDER IRRITATION OR
BACKACHE.
The American men and women must
guard constantly against Kidney trou
ble, because we eat too much and all
our food.is rich. Our blood is filled
with uric acid which the kidneys strive
to filter out, they weaken from over
work, hecome siuggish; the elimina
live tissues clog and the result is
kidney trouble, bladder weakness and
a general decline in health.
When your kidneys feel like lumps
of lead; your back hurts or the urine
is cloudy, full of sediment or you are
obliged to seek relief two or three
times during the night; if you suffer
with sick headache or dizzy, nervous
spells, acid stemach, or yow have rheq
matism when the weathqr is had, get
from your pharmacist about four
ounces of Jad Salts;.take a table
spoonful in a glass of water before
breakfast for a few days and your Fld
neys will then act fine. This famous
salts is made from the acid of grapes
and lemon juice combined with lithia
and has been used for generations to
flush and stimulate clogged kidneys;
to neutralize the acids in the urine |
so it no longer is a source of irrita
tion, thus ending bladder disorders. ‘
Jad Salts is inexpensive; cannot in
jure, makes a delightful effervescent,
lithia-water beverage and belongs in
every home, hecause nobody can make
a mistake by bhaving a good kidney
flushing any time.

Some of the Good Thingié About Md;tin’s
Liver Medicine That Can’t be Said About
‘Drugs Containing Nauseating Calomel
W. L. Roberts, 590 Duncan Ave.,
Macen, Ga., was recently induced to
try/the guaranteed Martin’s Liver
Medicine—“.the medicine that has no
calomel in it, but does the vrork just
the same.” " After using one bottle
Mr. Roberts wrote. to the Georgia
Medicine Company as follows: ..
"I have used my first bottle of Martin’s
Liver Medicine and have given it to my
children, 1 am absolutely overjoved with
lis action. The pleasant taste makes it easy
to i:ive children and it acts so pleasantly,
mildly and beneficially on them that they
never associate it with medicine. I take it
myself without having to suspend household
duties as is the case when I use other medi
cines., My houschold equipment is not now
complete without Martin’s xi_ivcr Medicine.”
Fltis really foolish for anybody to
take calomel—a sickening, nauseating,
poisonous mineral that wused to be
prescribed by physicians in days when
the medical fraternity didn’t know
any better. «pgmmmme RIS~ l

CLEANING FLUID.
An excellent homemade cleaning
fluid used generally for .many emer
gencies is made by dissolving «four
ounces of white castile soap in a
quart of boiling rainwater. When
cool add two ounces each of alcohol,
cther and glycerin, four ounces of
ammonia and finally one gallon of
rainwater and then bottle. This will
remove grease spots from clothing
and spots from table covers, carpets
and rugs.
