The hearing on the Georgia Public
S(t!‘firv Company for an increase in
rates for lighting and power in Cor
dele before the Georgia Railroad Com
mission has been deferred till Jan
uary 29th. This informition was con
veyed to Mayor Land last night and
the men charge of the rvate fight for
the cily have been apprized of this
fact.
The citizens are urged to attend the
meeting at the city council chamber
tomorrow evening at cight o'clock for
the purpose of making known their
wishes 28 to future procedure
. .
