WHEN PLANE CRASHES
Savannah, July 6.—Doing a tail
spin from an altitude of 2,000 feet
over the aviation camp at Paris Is
land, S. C., vesterday, a machine hit
the arth and was demolished. The

~ulcusly slight injuries, the worst
being a fractured right arm for Ma
chine Gunner Broome. Captain Gates,
the other airman, was cnly bruised.
DISORDERS IN SILESIA
RESULTS GIN BEATHS
Cleopenhagen, July 7.—Several per
sons were killed and a large number
pounded in the Sunday disturbances
at Kattowitz, upper Silesia, according
