MEETING OF THALIAN CLUB The Thalian Club held a most en joyable mceting on Wednesday after noon the g—uests of Mrs. U. V. Whip ple at hier home on College Hill. The meeting was presided over by the president Mrs. W. P. Fleming. Each member responded to roll call with a quotation from Portia. The Fourth Act of I'llo Merchant of Venice was the study for the afternoon and at ter reading the act Miss Louise Ber caw led in the discussion of the play bringing out many new points of in terest.
