ply for exemption before then, don't blame anybody but

son call by my office. If you can not come, write a letter
listing your belongings and I will be glad to fix it up for

on a scale. In writing be sure and state year, model and make

Social To Be Held At
Unity Christian Church
The Unity Christian Church is
sponsoring a Church Night Social at
the church on Saturday night, Apirl
21st. The program will consist of
recreation and games for both
young and old, group singing and
plenty of good wholesome fun. The
fun and recreation period will be
followed by a worship program and
directed by the District Secretary-
Evangelist, D. H. Havens. An in
vitation is extended to the entire
community to come and enjoy the
evening with us.

Pvt. Edward Phillips of San An
tonio, Tex., is spending his 30-day
furlough at home with his parents,

will return to the hospital there
May 2nd.
Charles Richardson, son of Rev.
and Mrs. Clyde Richardson, had the
misfortune to fall last Wednesday
afternoon, breaking his left wrist.
Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Hayes spent
last week with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Wiley Hayes. Wyatt came
from Kesler Field, Miss., where he

thousand chickens.

arations for the Home Coming and
singing which meets here the fifth
Sunday in April. Rev. C. T. Brown
will be with us and it is the regu
lar meeting of the the Jackson
County Singing Choir. All are asked

made preparations to sew for the
Red Cross. During the afternoon we
made 24 kits and divided 16 more
among the members to be made by
the following Saturday. After our
work was over, the hostess served
delicious refreshments. On May 9
the club will meet with Mrs. C. E.
McEver. Please remember that each
lady is to bring something to work
on and a household kit.
