Sheriff’s Office Arrests
Heater, tools taken from vehicle in Hoschton
A kerosene heater and small hand
tools were taken from a vehicle parked
at a McEver Lane, Hoschton, address
last week, according to an incident
report filed at the Jackson County
Sheriff’s Office.
Other incidents reported to the sher
iff’s office last week were:
•several items taken from a van at
a Zion Church Road, Braselton, busi
ness.
•100 pounds of copper wire taken
from a Valentine Industrial Parkway,
Pendergrass, work site.
•tools taken from a truck at a Tanner
Lane, Nicholson, address.
•a Hwy. 15, Jefferson man, said he
let a woman borrow and a track and
she will not return it, as he asked her
to do.
•a man attempted to use a stolen
credit card at a Banks Crossing busi
ness.
•checkbook taken from an Old State
Road, Pendergrass, location.
•a South Jackson business owner
said a former employee is using a fuel
card that he is no longer allowed to
have.
•trespassing at a Brock Road, Athens,
residence.
•garage door opener taken from a
Ridgeway Church Road, Braselton,
address.
•a Maysville man said he was driv
ing on Hwy. 98 and something struck
his vehicle and damaged it.
•several items taken from a Belle
Springs Road, Athens, residence.
•attempted burglary at a Hwy. 330
residence.
•burglary at a shop on Belle Springs
Road, Athens.
•copper wire taken from a home
under construction on Meadow Lake
Terrace, Hoschton.
•terroristic threats at an Oakley
Court, Athens, address.
•an Athens woman said she was
driving on Hwy. 129 when someone
threw a rock at her car and damaged
it.
•vehicle fire at a Herman Drive,
Commerce, address.
•a Maysville woman said her boy
friend locked her in the house and
threatened her.
•prescription medication taken
from a New Liberty Church Road,
Braselton, address.
•lock cut on a gate at a Davenport
Road, Braselton, location.
•porch screen cut at a Masters Way,
Athens, residence.
•washer, dryer and go cart taken
from a Baker Road, Maysville, loca
tion.
•a Silverwood Drive, Gillsville,
woman said someone broke a window
at her residence.
•hit and run accident at a Banks
Crossing business.
•harassing phone calls at a Brockton
Oaks Drive, Jefferson, location.
•hit and ran accident at a Hwy. 82
South, Jefferson, business.
•a woman said a neighbor threatened
her.
•vehicle fire at a Chandler Cemetery
Road, Maysville, location.
•a Pocket Road, Braselton, man said
his neighbor’s dog came into his yard
and began fighting with his dog.
•a Timber Ridge Drive, Athens, man
said dogs came into his yard and killed
one of his rabbits.
•dispute between two men at a
Jennings Lane, Nicholson, address.
•vehicle fire at a Galilee Church
Road, Jefferson, location.
•dispute between several people at a

•a Nicholson man said a woman
he had been dating stole prescription
medication from his residence.

dence when a woman tried to leave the
man she had been living with. She said
he grabbed her by the hair and struck
her several times.

used to date has been harassing and
threatening her.
•a Nicholson woman said her brother
has her vehicle and will not return it.
•couple fighting on the side of the
road at a Hwy. 82 location.

woman said her sister threatened her.
