tim.
•Justin Michael Cole, enter
ing an automobile and theft by
taking, $1,000 fine, 24 week
ends in jail and drug screen
ings.
•Jacob Kyle Sims, posses
sion of methamphetamine, 150
hours community service, 10
years probation, $1,000 fine
and waive fourth amendment
rights.
•James Westbrook, simple
assault and cruelty to chil
dren, 12 months probation and
$1,000 fine.
•Odis Mitchell Sims, posses
sion of firearms by a convicted
felon, three years probation,
$500 fine and waive fourth
amendment rights.
•Kenneth Wendell Shannon,
manufacturing marijuana
(reduced to possession of mar
ijuana), two years probation
and $1,000 fine.
•Alvin Jerome Strickland,
possession of cocaine, four
years probation, waive fourth
amendment rights and $750
fine. A charge of window tint
violation was dismissed.
•April Beatrena Goodrich,

CERT offering CPR classes to local groups
THE JACKSON County CERT (Community
Emergency Response Team) is offering a CPR
class for residents, civic clubs and businesses.
The cost is $25 per student with all proceeds
benefiting the Jackson County CERT program.
Instructors will come to the location requested
by interested groups. The classes are available
during an on-going basis.
