A 21-YEAR-OLD
Braselton man said he was
in his driveway on Venture
Court in Braselton when two
people attacked him. He said
they got cash out of his pock
et before running away.
The victim was treated
at a Barrow County hospi
tal for injuries he received
in the attack, according to
the incident report filed at
the Jackson County Sheriff's
Office.
In another incident report
ed last week, a burglary was
reported at the Subway on
Hwy. 124 West. A glass win
dow was broken and a small
amount of cash was taken.

14 wrecks reported in Jan.
STATE TROOPERS
from the Athens post of the
Georgia State Patrol inves
tigated 14 traffic crashes
during January in Jackson
County. The traffic crashes
resulted in 21 injuries and
two traffic deaths.
Troopers from Post 32 also
issued 120 traffic citations in
the county during the month.
The total includes one arrest
for driving under the influ
ence, 69 citations for speed
ing, 17 seat belt violations,
and three child restraint vio
lations. Troopers also issued
200 warnings.
