Natural gas bill review offered March 25
IF YOU are a natural gas
consumer in the Atlanta Gas
Light service area, you could
be paying too much for your
natural gas each month.
The local natural gas educa
tor, Leigh Anne Aaron, will
review bills from 9 a.m. to
noon Wednesday, March 25, at
the Jackson County Extension
Office, 102 Cloverleaf Circle,
Jefferson. The service is free.
“Take a look at your natural
gas bill,” Aaron said. “If you
are paying more than 99 cents
per therm and have a cus
tomer service charge higher
than $5.95, you need to bring
your bill for review.”
One consumer will save
approximately $200 this year
due to Aaron's assistance in
reading and understanding
her natural gas bill.
There are many plans avail
able for natural gas custom
ers, and it is important that
you get the best deal possible,
Aaron added. Also, there are
special discounts and options
through Atlanta Gas Light
and the natural gas marketers
for senior citizens.
Call Aaron at 706-367-6345
or fax her a bill at
706-367-6348.
