Recent vehicle break-ins reported
Town police departments list arrests
SEVERAL ITEMS have
been stolen from vehicles
during the past week, accord
ing to incidents reported to
the Jackson County Sheriffs
Office.
They include the follow
ing:
•camera and radio taken
from a truck parked at a Creek
View Drive, Pendergrass, res
idence.
•gun and cash taken from a
vehicle parked at a Huntington
Hill Drive, Braselton, loca
tion.
•DVD player taken from a
vehicle parked at a Hwy. 441
South, Nicholson, location.
•prescription medication
taken from a car parked at a
Jefferson Road, Athens, busi
ness.
•GPS and wallet taken from
a vehicle at a Popular Springs
Road, Hoschton, address.
•laptop, computer and
camera taken from a vehicle
parked at a Poplar Springs
Road, Hoschton, residence.
OTHER INCIDENTS
Other incidents reported to
the sheriff’s office last week
include the following:
•burglary at an Archer
Grove Road, Athens, resi
dence. The back door was
shattered and the alarm was
sounding when a deputy
arrives. Nothing appeared to
be taken and the burglar was
apparently scared away when
the alarm sounded.
•attempted theft of a vehi
cle from a Creekview Drive,
Pendergrass, residence. The
victim said he found his truck
running and backed into a
tree in the yard.
•stove, vacuum cleaner and
television taken from a Unity
Church Road, Maysville, res
idence.
•cruelty to animals at a
Bob Mann Road, Maysville,
address when a horse was
found neglected.
•trespassing at a Bill
Watkins Road, Hoschton,
address.
•two-vehicle wreck at an
Old Kings Bridge Road,
Nicholson, location.
•truck damaged while it
was parked at a Hwy. 441
South, Nicholson, address.
•property line dispute at
a Harmony Church Road,
Gilsville, location.
•verbal dispute between
a Jefferson woman and her
adult daughter.
•weedeater taken from
the front porch of a W.L.

•a B. Wilson Road,

woman who spent the night
with him stole his wallet. It
has $250 in cash in it.
•verbal dispute at a Poplar

Jefferson, man said a woman
took his car without permis
sion and would not return it.
•verbal dispute between a
couple at a Groaning Rock
