Jackson County Board of Commissioners
PUBLIC HEARING
The Jackson County Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at the Jackson
County Administrative Auditorium, 67 Athens Street,
Jefferson, Georgia, to consider the following matters:
Old Business
1. RZ-09-04 - James Ray Mattox requests to
rezone approximately 6.215 acres located at
Old Savage Road from “Agricultural Rural
Farm District (A-2) to Low Density Single
Family Residential (R-l) for a four lot split.
(Map 059 Parcel 013)
New Business
2. RZ-09-05 - Cindy Braymiller requests to rezone
approximately 4 acres of a 13.224 acre parcel
located at 65 Cane Creek from Agricultural
Rural Farm District (A-2) to Manufactured
Housing District (M-H) for a single family
home. (Map 042 Parcel 022B)
3. SU-09-03 - H. P. Land, LLC requests a special
use permit for the roads in “The Fields of
Walnut Creek” to be classified as private in a
gated community located at 4600 Hwy. 60 in
Pendergrass, with the zoning of R-l. (Map 116
Parcels 001, 006, 008, and Part 002B)
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will address the
recommendations of the Planning Commission at a public
hearing on July 20, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jackson County
Courthouse at 5000 Jackson Parkway.
Complete applications, plats, texts, maps, and public hearing
procedures are available for review in the Planning Division
Office, of the Department of Public Development during
regular office hours. All interested persons are invited to
attend.
Anyone desiring to speak in opposition to one of the above
cases shall file a Campaign Contribution Disclosure form at
least 2 business days prior to the June 25, 2009 Public
Hearing.
