Tanger initiates Banks Crossing cleanup
TWENTY VOLUNTEERS from Tanger Outlets
recently walked from one Tanger center to the other
to pick up debris and trash along the roadsides and
sidewalks.
As part of their month-long “TangerStyle for a
Greener World” campaign, the Tanger manage
ment team organizes a trash pick-up day for the
Banks Crossing area. Volunteers all donned very
bright T-shirts, rubber gloves and sunglasses and
began what turned out to be about a two-hour trek
from Tanger Outlet Center on Steven B. Tanger
Boulevard to Tanger Town Centre.
Nick King, coordinator of the event, indicated
that just over 40 bags of trash were picked up.
HOLDS FOOD DRIVE
Ken Byce of Remax Towne Square, Jefferson, held his annual client appreciation
party and community food drive for local food banks and local churches. He said
the food drive was a “huge success.”
