Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce says that economic activity is still
strong. "Even during this slow economy, Jackson County is till working with
companies who are expressing an interest in our area," said Short. 'My guess is
that Jackson County has some of the best industrial inventory in the state and
that combined with our excellent location and workforce make us an ideal
place for businesses to locate," said Short.
