to take place Oct. 17

a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the
Jackson County Transfer
Station/Landfill located
on County Farm Road,
Jefferson.
Shredding documents
helps protect against iden
tity theft. The event encour
ages Jackson County resi
dents to clean out their files
of unwanted paper trails,
place them in the truck or
car and take them to the
transfer station to have them
shredded.
Items to consider taking
include bank information.
cancelled or blank checks,
credit card offers/informa
tion, financial statements,
personal bills, income tax
records, insurance coverage,
investment information,
legal papers and medical
records.
Also accepted for dispos
al will be fluorescent light
bulbs, household batteries,
up to six gallons of oil and
latex paint with a $1 charge
per additional gallon, alu
minum, small metals, news
and office paper, auto oil
and auto batteries.

DENTIST TALKS ABOUT MISSION TRIP
