Tutoring services offered at libraries in three counties
THE 11 libraries of the Piedmont Regional Library
System now have an online homework help tutoring service,
Brainfuse.
All libraries in Banks, Barrow and Jackson counties have
access to this service, which utilizes certified, screened teach
ers to help grades 3-12 with their homework. Anyone with
a PRLS PINES library card can also access this from home.
This service is free to residents of the three-county region.
There is also no limit to the amount of help you can receive.
The service is available from 2-11 p.m.
The tutors do not do homework for students; rather, they
will walk a student through a problem until it is understood.
Tutorial help is available, for math, language arts, science,
social studies and Spanish. Help is also available for Spanish
speakers as well. Additionally, students can submit papers
and get assistance with their writing with a 24-hour turn
