Superior Court results given for Jackson County
SUPERIOR COURT results from recent proceedings in
Jackson County include the following who were sentenced:
•Antonio Wallace, obstruction, five years in jail.
•Timothy Jerry Johnson, criminal damage to property, five
years probation and restitution.
•Michael Scott Wilfawn, theft by taking, $1,000 fine,
waive fourth amendment rights, three years in jail and seven
years probation.
•Juan Castillo, possession of marijuana, 10 months proba
tion, 65 hours community service and waive fourth amend
ment rights.
•Charles Stewart Barbee, possession of cocaine with
intent to distribute, six years in jail, four years probation,
$2,500 fine and waive fourth amendment rights. A charge
of obstruction of an officer was dismissed.
•Jennifer Diane Trammell, arson, two years house arrest,
13 years probation and $1,500 fine.
•Dorsel Frady, trafficking methamphetamine and posses
sion of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, $2,500
fine, 10 years probation and waive fourth amendment
rights.

rights.

of DUI was dismissed.

•Scott Alan White, DUI and suspended license, $1,100
fine, 40 hours community service, 12 months probation,
drug and alcohol evaluation, Risk Reduction Program and
12 hours in jail. Charges of failure to maintain lane and
improper backing were dismissed.
•Jason Allen Wolfe, deposit account fraud, restitution,
$100 fine and 12 months probation.
•Lakesha Kema Yearby, speeding, $143 fine. A charge of
driving without a license was dismissed.

Fire destroys mobile home
GSP lists last week’s arrests
A FIRE totally destroyed
an unoccupied mobile home
in the North Jackson area last
week.
On January 2, units from
Plainview, North Jackson
and the Jackson County
Correctional Institute fire
departments responded to
622 Lipscomb Lake Road,
Pendergrass, on a reported
structure fire. Firefighters
found a vacant, singlewide
mobile home fully involved
with fire.
The fire was reported to
have been burning for some
time before it was called in.
The mobile home was com
pletely destroyed and the
cause of the fire is under
investigation by the Plainview
Fire Department. No injuries
were reported.
