Gun pulled in carpool lane dispute at daycare
A DISPUTE about who
“cut in line” in a carpool lane
at a Hoschton daycare center
led one man to pull a gun
on another man, according to
the Jackson County Sheriff's
Office.
The first man said he “cut in
line” at the daycare center on
Ga. Hwy. 53 and another man
pulled a gun on him, accord
ing to an incident report.
The second man said the
first man cut in line, so he
blew his vehicle horn at the
first man, who then got out of
his vehicle cursing at him.
The second man said he felt
threatened by the first man,
so he put a gun in his lap and
the first man returned to his
vehicle. A witness in the car
with the second man said the
gun wasn't taken out of its
holster and remained on the
man’s lap. The witness got
out of the vehicle and went
inside the daycare.
A deputy said both men
were “escalating” when he
arrived.
