holding “Across Georgia 2010
Evangelistic Revival” through
Thursday, May 13. Services
are held at 7 p.m. nightly.
Randy Perry, an evangelist
from Dahlonega, will be the
guest speaker. There will be
special singing each night.

Mt. Calvary Missionary
Baptist Churchhas announced
the following events planned
in May: Spring fling, 7 a.m.
to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 15.
The women’s department will
sponsor a Spring Fling in the
parking lot. Plans include a
multi-family yard sale, fish
fry and arts and crafts: and
pastor anniversary celebra
tion, Sunday, May 16. The
Rev. W.R. Brown will be hon
ored on his 11th anniversary
with the church. There will
be two speakers. The morning
service will be at 11 a.m. with
the Rev. Kenneth Sims, asso
ciate minister of Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church, speaking.
The afternoon worship ser
vice will be at 3 p.m. with the
Rev. Rodney Lackey, pastor
of Antioch Baptist Church,
Gainesville, speaking. Dinner
will be served from 1:15
p.m. - 2:30 p.m. for the after
noon service. The church is

Beau-champs Gospel Hall,
Nicholson, will present “Lords
Messengers” on Saturday,

will be music, dramas and

A Call To Salvation
Church and Father Speaks
Ministries will hold a semi
nar Friday through Sunday,
May 21 - 23 at the church in
Jefferson. Times are as fol
lows: Friday night 7 p.m.,
Saturday morning 10:30 a.m.,
followed by a light lunch, and
at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30
a.m. and 6 p.m. The semi
nar is called “Encountering
the Father” and will focus
on knowing God as a Father.
Vince and Rose Mercardante
will be teaching the seminar.
Vince and Rose have traveled
to 12 countries in the last five
years teaching on the Fathers
heart and His love, including
15 times to Korea in the last

The Community Baptist
Church sportsman ministry
will sponsor a bass tourna
ment on Saturday, May 22,
from dawn to 2 p.m. at the
Richard B. Russell State Park
in Elberton. Food will be pro
vided during weigh-in and
there will be a speaker. There
will be a five live fish limit.
The entry fee is $60 per boat,
includes big fish and only
two people per boat. Pay out
will be one place for every
ten boats entered. Entry forms
must be completed and turned
in with payment no later than 6
a.m. May 22. Pre-registration
is encouraged. Registration
