Maysville PD arrest two
THE MAYSVILLE Police
Department reports the arrest
of two people during the peri
od of June 6 through June
12. Those arrested and their
charges include:
•Donald Eugene Darrough,
Jr., 36, 34 Meadowlark Way,
Maysville, public intoxica
tion.
•Patrick Dean Banks, 39,
397 Oconee Lane, Commerce,
driving under the influence of
alcohol, failure to maintain
lane and tail lights required.
INCIDENTS
Maysville PD responded to
the following incidents during
the same period:
•theft of a trailer from a
Valley View Drive, Maysville,
residence. The complainant
advised someone came into
his front yard and took a 2011
Currahee landscape trailer.
•custody dispute at an Oak
Ridge Drive, Maysville, resi
dence.
•verbal dispute at a Hidden
Meadows Drive, Maysville,
residence.
ACCIDENT
One traffic accident was
reported to the Maysville
Police Department. The one-
car accident happened on
Highway 98 at Highway 82
Spur. The driver of the 2010
Mazda 3S, Leslie Elaine
Pope, 22, 812 Highway 124
West, Jefferson, was trans
ported by Jackson County
Emergency Medical Services
to Northeast Georgia Medical
Center for treatment of her
injuries.
PD investigates burglaries
THE ARCADE Police
Department continues to
investigate burglaries and
thefts by taking that occurred
at two separate locations on
Highway 129 last week.
Arcade Police Chief Randy
Williams reported some of the
items taken were farm equip
ment, all terrain vehicles and
deer stands. “The items taken
at both locations totaled over
$100,000,” Williams said.
Williams reported Arcade
officers searched the area near
Terry Farm Road for the indi
viduals who were riding four-
wheelers.
Williams advised he does
have a good lead in the case
and expects to make an arrest
in the incident.
