The Manual on Ministering
Spiritual Gifts authored by
Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian
International Ministries will
be taught by the Rev. Patricia
(Saxon) Mann.
Mann is an ordained minis
ter with Christian International
Apostolic Network and will
cover the topics of personal
prophecy and spiritual gifts.

Commerce First United
Methodist Church will
hold a study concerning a
book titled “The Shack” and
its message about grieving,
God's works in people's lives
and forgiveness.
In 2007 the book was
authored and published by
William P. Young.
It is a fictionalized story
about a bereaved man’s
encounter with God the
Father, God the Son, and God
the Holy Spirit.
David Bowen, the church
pastor, will lead the study.
The sessions will be on
Wednesdays in July starting
at 7 p.m. and will be held at
the church.
There is no charge for the
study but everyone must have
a copy of the book and have
already read the entire book
before the first session on
July 7.
The study is open to the
public.
