Chateau Elan finishes $1.5 million spa renovation
Career fair planned Thursday
COUPLES ROOM
A customized couples’ room at Chateau Elan is one of the areas that has been reno
vated at the Spa at Chateau Elan.
CHATEAU ELAN Winery
and Resort, Braselton, has
completed a comprehensive
$1.5 million renovation to the
Spa at Chateau Elan — includ
ing upgrades to the spa’s 35
treatment rooms, relaxation
areas and customized couples’
rooms.
The project completes a
resort-wide transformation
valued at $11 million, includ
ing extensive makeovers of all
guest rooms and bathrooms,
the 25,000 square foot confer
ence center and the L’Auberge
and Versailles restaurants.
“This extensive renova
tion is part of our mission
to serve as Atlanta’s premier
destination spa and provide
the ultimate relaxation experi
ence for large business groups
or leisure travelers seeking a
fun, refreshing spa getaway,”
said Doug Rollins, vice presi
dent of sales and marketing
at Chateau Elan. “The wide
spread improvements will bet
ter serve corporate meeting
planners and business travelers
who want the best possible
meeting facilities and a relax
ing, elegant stay while away
from home.”
Custom designed to offer
a soothing, romantic experi
ence for couples, new luxuri
ous couples’ experience treat
ment rooms — a growing
trend among upscale spas —
were added, featuring massage
tables, Jacuzzi tubs and lavish
showers. Additional improve
ments include sumptuous new
relaxation areas complete with
soft lighting, new carpeting,
plush couches and expansive
lakeside views.
One of the most luxurious
facilities in Georgia, the Spa
at Chateau Elan is a 35.000
square foot, full-service
European-style spa nestled
inside a lakeside mansion. It
includes 14 themed overnight
guest suites and its own restau
rant, Fleur de Lis.
Staffed by a team of 95 pro
fessionals, the spa provides an
extensive offering of European
and specialized body treat
ments, massage and wellness
therapies, hydrotherapy, signa
ture anti-oxidant winery treat
ments, skin care treatments,
nail care, sauna, steam room
and more.
The designers’ vision for the
spa creates a contemporary
atmosphere for sophisticated
relaxation, incorporating a rich
color palette of watery blues
and peaceful greens with tran
quil glass mosaics and bronzed
metals. Design Directions
International of Marietta led
the renovation project.
NEW ‘SPA-RTY’ TREND
The Spa has introduced a
popular offering called the
“Spa-rty” - a fun, relaxing spa
party for gatherings of friends,
family and co-workers. Spa
parties are becoming the new
rage at the Spa at Chateau Elan
for bridal showers, birthday
parties, bachelorette parties,
girls’ weekends and more.
Various packages including
massage, nails or facial spa
parties are available throughout
the week. For more informa
