FAMILY PROJECT AT NJES
Connie Love and Laura Pityer’s kindergarten class at North Jackson Elementary
School recently had a “Family Project” assignment. It was to create a scarecrow
and a story about their scarecrow. Pictured on the wall behind the students are their
scarecrows and their stories.

PUPPY PALS AT BENTON
Students who have met their reading goal at Benton Elementary School take turns
reading to French Bulldogs, Mac, and Serena, who are members of Therapy Dogs
International. These dogs are usually seen in hospitals and nursing homes. At
Benton, they are used to motivate children to read. “It’s a perfect match”, com
ments Judith Gault, Intervention Specialist at Benton. The children love the dogs
and the dogs love the attention.” Angelina Her is shown reading to Mac.

CONSENT JUDGMENT
The above-styled action having come before the Court on Plaintiffs Complaint for
Damages and to Foreclose Lien and upon Defendants' Counterclaim and Third-Party
Complaint, and the parties having reached a full and final settlement of any and all claims,
issues, disputes, actions, or causes of action that were expressly plead in (or in any way related
to) the facts, transactions, or occurrences giving rise to the pleadings in this action, and the
Parties having stipulated to the terms hereof and consented to the entry of this judgment, the
Court hereby enters this Consent Judgment as follows:
The Plaintiff's claims against the Defendant have been discharged and / or forfeited in
the Plaintiffs bankruptcy proceedings and it is hereby Ordered and Adjudged that Plaintiffs
Complaint for Damages and to Foreclose Lien be dismissed with prejudice.
It is also hereby Ordered and Adjudged that the Defendant's Third Party Complaint for
Damages against Third Party Defendant Stacey B. Phillips be dismissed with prejudice.
It is further Ordered and Adjudged that judgment be entered in favor of the Defendants
and against the Plaintiff and Third Party Defendant Diamond Construction, Inc., jointly and
severally for Fraud, as alleged in the Defendant's Counterclaim and Third Party Complaint. As
a full, complete, and total resolution of all facts, transactions, and occurrences embraced by.
alleged in, or related to the Defendants Counterclaim(s) against Plaintiff and Diamond
Construction, Inc., Defendants shall have and recover from the Plaintiff and Diamond
Construction, Inc., jointly and severalty, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). The Court hereby enters
Final Judgment in favor of the Defendants and against the Plaintiff and Third Party Defendant
Diamond Construction, Inc. in the amount of One Dollar ($1.00).
Additionally, Defendants shall also be relieved of the lien filed by the Plaintiff in the office
of the Clerk of Banks Superior court in GED 19, Pages 353, and of the bond posted by the
Defendants in the amount of THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN
DOLLARS AND 35/100 ($38,413.35). The clerk of Court is hereby authorized and Ordered to
release the said bond and to pay over to Defendants all amounts held by the Clerk.
