Dale Clark, 62, died Monday,
July 31, 2017.
Mr. Clark was born in Com
merce, the son of Ada Strick
land Clark of Commerce and
the late Corzy Clark. He was
a member of Rogers Baptist
Church and was employed with
Triple H Trucking.
Survivors in addition to his
mother include his wife, Julia
Sweet Clark; daughter, Kim
berly Hoopaugh (Kenneth),
Winterville; son, Jeremy Nich
ols (Renae), Nicholson; sister,
Elaine Austin (Kimsey), Dan-
ielsville; nephew, Kevin Austin
(Angie); niece, Melissa Neff
(Matt); six grandchildren; and
a number of friends and family.
Funeral services were held
Sunday, August 6, at the chapel
of Little-Ward Funeral Home
with the Rev. Doug Duncan
and Mr. Kevin Austin officiat
ing. The interment will be held
at a later date in Rogers Baptist
Church Cemetery.

She was a daughter of the

Kelly Burke.
Mrs. Crowe
was a native
of Chattanoo

ty since 1952.
She married
the love of her
life, Houston Crowe on June
7, 1946 in Ringgold, Ga. She
was a retired customer service
representative with Sears and
was a member of Union Baptist
Church.
Mrs. Crowe was preceded
in death by a daughter, Nancy
Karen Crowe, and siblings,
Dewey Burke, Jr., Joyce Wil
liams and Delores Albright.

Mrs. Downs was born in

maker and was a member of the

She passed away peacefully
in her sleep

Facility. Sara
was born July
9, 1928 in
Statham. She
was a loving
wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She was
also an avid reader and a great
admirer of cats and birds. For
many years, Sara was an active
church and choir member of
Calvary Baptist Church. Sara's
faith in Christ will be a last
ing memory to all who knew
her. Mrs. Saye was preceded in
death by her loving husband,
Walter Lee Saye; and her par
ents, James and Bertha Dial.
She is survived by her
son, Terry (Rita) Saye, Har
rogate, Tenn.; daughter, Linda
Saye, Tucker; granddaughters,
Denise (Doug) Cole, Statham,
Cynthia (Adam) Robertson,
Speedwell, Tenn; great-grand
daughters, Ashton and Amber
Cole and Olivia Robertson; and
great-grandson, Noah Robert
son.

ber of the West Jackson Fire
Department, was a bus driver
for the Jackson County Board
of Education, Co-Founder of
Family Sports and Recreation
in Braselton and served on the
Braselton City Council for a
number of years. Mr. Stevens
was preceded in death by a son,
Joel Stevens; two sisters; and
two brothers.
Very much a family man, Mr.
Stevens was survived by a large
loving family that includes his
wife of 68 years, Sara Sheridan
Stevens, Braselton; son, James
Allen Stevens, Jr. and his wife
Wanda Sue, Braselton; daugh
ter, Wanda Lynn Duncan and
her husband H.W., Braselton;
daughter, Pamela Sue Reed and
her husband Dwight, Brasel
ton; daughter, Penelope Ann
Clark and her husband Tim,
Braselton; son, Greg Stevens,
Braselton; 12 grandchildren;

ful sense of humor; in fact,
it earned him the nickname
“Smiley”. He was a member

Born April 8, 1940, he was

Inda Mae McElreath. He was
the father of the late Greg
Ledford. He was the brother
of the late Bertha Williams,
Dorothy Wilbanks, Alice Bond,
Mildred Thomas, Linda Led
ford, Bill, Herman, Curtis, and
George Ledford. Mr. Ledford
was retired from Coats and
Clark of Toccoa, Ga. He was
a Mason, and a member of
Anchor Church.
