JACKSON COUNTY FFA MEMBERS ATTEND NORTH REGION RALLY
The Jackson County Comprehensive High School FFA Chapter
attended the Area II North Region Rally held at the FFA Camp
near Covington. JCCHS FFA members who attended were: Cam
Klamke, Audrey Eagle, Kaylie Boone, Peyton Bragg, Peyton
Puckett, Hannah White and Braeden Zeigler. The two-day event
was designed to allow FFA members to learn about the oppor
tunities available to them through the FFA. The FFA theme
for this year is “I can. We will.” The FFA had more than 700
members at the conference. Members saw the operation of the
dairy industry while touring the 2017 Georgia Farm of the Year,
WDairy near Madison. The dairy milks 1,700 dairy cows and
ships 151,000 pounds of milk daily. FFA members had lunch at
Farmview Market which serves meals that feature locally grown
produce and meats.
