house of the season will witness this

Mrs C I. Stacy and little son, who
have been spending several days with
relatives in this city, returned to their
home in Macon this morning.
A severe wind and rain struck Grif
fin at noon today. Very little dam
age was done beyond the uprooting of
several large trees and demolishing
fences.

Rev. Mr. Patton, pastor of the Pres
byterian church, of Decatur, returned
home this morning after spending
several days in this city assisting in

E. C. Akin, Jr., went up to Atlanta
Tuesday morning to attend the graduating
exercises of the Georgia Electic Medical
College. His eldest son, B. F. Akin, will
graduate. We all know Bennie; he has
been residing In Jenkinsburg for the past
four years, and is in every way a good,
Christian gentleman. We all wish him
success. His wife is also a graduate of
that college.
