Cleveland Reeves is able to beout again* after being confined to his room for some time with a bruised limb. T. T. Allen is spending today in Griffin on business. Miss Mollie Johnson left yesterday for Griffin, to spend a few days with relatives and friends. • Dr. Byne, of Zetella, was here 'today ad ministering to the sick. Strickland died at her home in Cabin district this morning at 7 o’clock. Her death was not un expected, as she had been nn invalid for years while for the last few days her condition was known to be very critical. The deceased was fifty years of age and is survived by her husband and seven children. Mrs. Strickland was a daughter of the late Col. Thos. H. Connell, and has one brother, R. S Connell, and I four sisters, Mrs M. (). Slaton, Mrs. C. W. Henderson, Mrs M. C, Brooks and Mrs S A Patrick, all of whom are living in this county. The deceased was aconsis'ent mem ber of the i'tiion Bipt.-t church and her remains will be interred in the burying ground of that church at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning.
