He came upon a very tine so* which had eight or ten pig*, but did r.ot notice the hogs until the sow ran after him, when he turned and bit her very badly. The hog was at once killed. The oldest canal in America is for sale. It is called the Union canal, and extends from the Schuylkill river, near Heading. Pa., to the Susquehanna first at Middletown.
