Covington Star: “The extension of tho Georgia Midland railroad from Me Donough to Athens is being agitated. We don’t know anything definite about it, but feel certain there will be sone movement of that sort within the next year. The Geoagia, Carolina and North ern road, which is being built from Mon roe, North Carolina, to Athens, is being pushed in this direction, and by next year will probably reaoh the classic city. Then the extension of the Georgia Midland, from McDonough to Athens, will have to be built. Covington will be glad to help it, because we waut the road. Of course the people all along the line will help a» much as they can to bni'd the extension.” Apple Peellugs on the Pavement disturbs many, and often upsets the peo pla, but how much oftener does the green apple disturb the stomach and up set the bowols.
