probably be interesting news to Mr.

saying that Mr. Blaine can be nomi
nated for the Presidency any day if
he wants to be, Mr. Blaine, together
with a big majority of the dele¬
gates to Chicago, will agree with

It is understood that Col L. F.
Livingston, of Newton, proposes to
enter the ministry with a view of com
batting Hon- J. D. Stewart for Con
Kress from the 5th district at the elec
tion two years from now. Speaking of
Col Livingston, it is announced that
he is now in the role of a reformer.

of Georgia, which he now considers

poses as a reform that the hickory
switch be introduced into all the col

stood that he favored a complete
change in the faculty of the Universi
