of Walter T. Miller that on the first day of
April in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hun
dred and Seventy-two A. C. Schaefer ft Co„
a firm composed of A. C. Schaefer and Geo
Y. Barker, made and delivered to said Wal¬
ter T. Miller a certain mortgage in which
the sum of Six Thousand Dollars w as ac
knowledged which said to be cue deed the said" plaintiff,
mortgage bears dale April
1st, 1872, to secure the payment of said
amount due, whereby they conveyed to said
Walter T. Miller the following described
