For Stewart and Tariff Reform.
Henry Coimty Tins*.
The political bosses of Atlanta are
just now in hard labor evolving plans
for the defeat of Judge Stewart for
the nomination for congress next
year and the putting of an Atlanta
man in his place. They have, no
fault to find with Judge Stewart ex¬
cept the fact that he is a strong
friend of the working class and op¬
posed to high tariff and monopolies
and the dastardly laws that make
then? possible. The political wran¬
gle# of a municipal nature and the
county affairs of Fulton have prom¬
ised to the people that there is hard¬
ly a decent politician in the city of
Atlanta—none that the people would
like to trust to represent them in the
National councils. Our people are
for Cleveland and Stewart and I the
principles of tariff reform, which they
so ably represent .

at a school entertainment at Tokio, And it
began by Prince Haro’s noticing that the
young American kept on his Tam o’ Shanter

Before the officer could reach the offender,
the insulting princeling had slipped from his
chair, strode down and knocked off the hat
with his own hand. Young America never
stopped to think who the aggressor was, but
struck back, and in a few minutes the future
emperor and one of our future presidents had
clinched and ware slapping and pounding
each other in the most democratic manner.
The horrified nobles of the prince’s suite and
the frightened parents of the young Ameri-
