The West Point Press, in bidding
farewell to President Cecil Gabbett,
pays him this deserved tribute:
started out at the bottom round
the ladder, bat from the start he
hibited the pluck, energy and tact

stands the peer of the foremost rail¬

Gabbett goes to a broader field of

Among the best advertisers the use
of superlatives is very limited, asit is
with the most successful salesman.
To assume that an article has super¬

and explicit language why, or to call
attention to its characteristics in
such a way that the prospective buy¬
er sees its advantages, is to save
arousing opposition or denial and
frequently to secure the co-operation
of the customer.

News From Senoia.
Senoia , Ga., November 23.—R. K.
Met kin and family have moved from
Senoia to Cleburne county, Alabama.
He is the oldest business man in this
town as a merchant. Senoia will
miss him greatly.
Calvin Gay, who was doing a heavy
mercantile business three miles from
Senoia at Parker’s mill, left last Fri¬
day morning to parts unknown. No
one knows the cause of his leaving as
he did.
Rev. E. Culpepper moved from
Senoia Thursday to Fairborn, where
he is called to preach. He is a great
preacher. Senoia regretted to give
him up as he has served the people
faithfully here for three years at the
Baptist church.
Judge B. F. Cook’s winehouse was
burned Wednesday night. I have
not learned what the loss was.
Colonel John F. Metkins and lady
went up to the Gate City Wednesday.
Quite a number left Senoia Thursday
to attend the Grand Chapter at At¬
lanta.

Living characterizes these modern days.
The result is a fearful increase of Brain

the evil. The medicine tost adapted
to do permanent good is Ayer’s Sar¬

vitalizes the blood, and thus strengthens
every function and faculty of the body.
“ I have used Ayer’s Sarsaparilla, in
my family, for years. I have found it
invaluable as
