Griffin is prsud of its manufac¬
tories.
Among those in which the city
takes the greijftet pride is the Kin-v
caid Mills, on the northern suburbs
of the city.
Yesterday 0 W. J. Kincaid informed
the News and Sun reporter that
125,000 worth of uew machinery
was being placed in]'position, con¬
sisting of looms, spindles, cards*
speeders and other much-needed ads
ditions.
They have also introduced a new
process of dyeing cotton before it is
spun that will be a great benefit to
the consumers of colored goods, and
will greatly facilitate work at the
mills.
The Griffin Cotton Mills rank
higher than any other in the State,
for the reason that they are always
alive to the demands of the day and
are able to meet them.
“Our manufactories, while not great
in number, are industries that any
city should feel proud of, and we are
always glad to mention or notice
improvements and advancements.
