Wright, the silver-tongued solicitor of
the Augua*n circnit. was called for
with snch enthusiasm that he came
forth and made one of the most power¬
ful and conservative Democratic
speeches ever beard in this county.

during his speech. In one of his earnest
and eloquent appeals to those and Who had
