The Verdict.
Tbe coroner’s Jury which was era
paneled on Thursday afternoon Id
the Page-Hollaway murder care,
met at police headquarters yester¬
day morning, aud after bearing evi
dence from the witnesses summoned,
rendered tbe following verdict:
“We, the jury, find that George
Page came to his death from a gun¬
shot wound at the hands of Allen
Holloway and the same is murder in
the first degree.” Signed
A. W. Blake. Foreman.
1 he evidence was in substance tbe
same as published in our columns
yesterday, with this exception, that
not a word was spoken belore the
gun was fired. Hollaway is still at
large aud all endeavors to apprehend
him have proven futile.
