Scott’s emulsion of cod-liver

“Not doing well” means
that the child is not getting
the good of his food. Not
today, or this week; it may
have been going on for a
month; before it begins to
show in the child’s condition.
You want him to get back
to turning his usual food into

You want the food that

MORRISON’ S STRA NGE TALE.
Held Up by Three Men and Forced to
Marry Woman.
Wayoross, Ga., Nov. 2.—An unusu¬
ally interesting story comes from Charl¬
ton county, where court has been in see-
■ion.
IL Reed Morrison, a prominent oiti-
zen of Maniac, was granted a divorce in
the oonrt, there being no opposition to
his suit. Morrison stated to the jury
that he lived in South Caroliua prior to
his removal to this state, three years
ago, when he came to Momac and ac¬
cepted Dyal-Upohuroh a posuiou as sawyer for the
Lumber company.
He said that one night while he lived
in Sonth Carolina he was met by a trio
of men, heavily armed with Winches¬
ter rifles. He was told that he must
either marry a certain young lady of
the community or prepare to pass in his
checks. The womap in question was a
sister of one of the men iu the party.
He was held in enstody at the point of
the dangerous looking rifles until the
lady, the license aud an officer of the
law conld be secured, and thereupon
they were made man and wife.
According to Morrison’s version of
the affair, as soon as the ceremony had
been performed he was set at liberty
and as soon as possible left the state of
South Oarolina and had not returned
there since. Never having from that
day until the present time looked npon
the face of the woman whom he mar¬
ried that night in the road after hearing
his story, and there being no opposition
to the proceedings, the jury granted the
divoroe asked for.
