MRS. SCALES HOSTESS FOR THE
YOUNG LADIES STUDY CIRCLE.
The Young Ladies’ Study Circle of
the First Methodist church had an in¬
teresting meeting Wednesday after¬
noon with Mrs. Edward^cales, at her
home on East Broad street, with
twenty-one of the members in at¬
tendance. ’■ *
The house was prettily decorated
with sunny jonquils and growing
ferns.
Mrs. Edward Scales led the devo¬
tional and after the study pqriod a
social time followed. The hostess
was assisted in serving cream and
cake by Mrs. Charles Scales.

Paul Walker, Mrs. W. S. Nixon, Mrs.

luncheon, at her home on South Hill
street, in compliment to her guest,
Mrs. Wingfield Nisbet, of Macon.

and cyclamen were the decoratipns
used in tAe handsome home.
Mrs. Kell received her guests wear
ing black braided Canton crepe.
Mrs. Nisbet wore Mack satin, real
lace and a necklace of pearls.
