COSTS NOTHING UNLESS CURED
A Fair Offer Made by Druggist Brooks
to All sufferers from Catarrh-
Druggist Brooks is selling Hyomei on
a plan that has caused considerable talk
amongst his customers.
The plan is different from that fol
lowed by other remedies, but the reme
dy itself is different also. This treat
ment for the cure for catarrh has such
an unusual record of cures to its credit
that Druggist. Brooks offers to refund
the money if it does not give the de
sired benefit. This is certainly one of
the fairest offers that can be made and
any one who has catarrh and does not
take advantage oi it is doing himself
or herself an injustice
The Hyomei treatment consists of a
small hard rubber inhaler that can be
earned in the vest pocket or purse, a
medicine dropper and a bottle of Hyo
mei. The complete treatment costs but
SI.OO and as the inhaler lasts a life
time medicine is very inexpensive.
Many‘people who have used it write
that for the good Hyomei has done
them they would willingly pay
thousands of dollars.
Extra bottles ot Hyomei can be pro
cured for use with the inhaler at 50c.
Do not suffer any longer with tick
ling, smarting, burning eye-watering
troubles that afflict those who have
catarrh. Hyomei will cure you, but if
you do not find it adapted to your case,
Druggist Brooks will return vour
money.

our Hold Dollar the Standard.
The gold dollar of tbe United Sratrs is
the monetary Ftandard of Canada, Brit
ish Honduras and Columbia, and Mexi
co, it is anticipated will attain the same
standard at an early date. The standard
among all proprietary medicines is the
celebrated Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters
For over s<> years it has been the leader
of its class in curing ail stomach, liver
and bowel disorders, and that is why it Is
used so much to the exclusion of all other
remidies. \\ ben the appetite is poor, sleep
restless, blood impure, tongue coated,
breath bad and the nerves unstrung a
few doses of the Bitters will soon set
things rig*’!again. Then it also cures
indigestion, dyspepsia, constipation,
cramps, diarrhoea or malaria, We urge
you to tr-ff it at once.
A Pioneer Patentee.
It is rather remarkable that tbe first
patent taken out in America should
have been secured by an Englishman.
It was in the middle of the seventeenth
century that an Englishman named ■
Jenk secured a monopoly in America
for the sale of a hand machine for ex
tinguishing fires which he had invent
ed in England some years previously. I
but did not test its practical working
until he migrated to America. The mo
nopoly only lasted for fourteen years, .
but Jenk made a very ample fortune •
out of his sales of the apparatus.—Lon- -
don Tatler.
Hill and Taylor streets, all of which
will then b« under roof.
A couple of days ago we said that
this would make one of the largest
storeys in Middle Georgia, but ac
cording to Mr Baas this atetemeut
is entirely too moderate, their pres
ent store occupying 37,000 square
feet of floor room, which is only a
thousand feet less than the premises
occupied bv J. M High & Co., in
Atlanta, which is »aid to be the
largest in the State Tbe new ad
dition to Bass Brothers Company’s
store will be 110x52 feet and two
stores high, giving 11,300 square
feet more of floor room, and a total
of 48,300 square feet, or over one
fourth more than the space occupied
by any other retail store in tbe
State.
The balance of the lot will be oc
cupied by an up to-date fireproof
warehouse, all roofed over, to be in
readiness for J E. Drewry for the
fall crop ot cotton.
In addition to conducting this
mammoth enterprise, Mr. Bass is
interested in three otner stores in
this State and two stores in Texas,
and has other valuable investments,
and is still a young man, with as
much energy as he possessed when
he became a member of the firm, of
Bass & Heard in a small store on
the corner opposite the present
larg Q establishment.

locomotives hauling water. The fire
is drifting towards the Hamilton Pow

felt as a stong wind Is driving the
