If you think you have a good many friends, rest satisfied with your perhaps well founded opinion, but don’t put the matter to a test by trying to borrow money from them. The present business calamities in Georgia will be turned into blessings, if they shall result in convincing the peo ple that a change of methods is a neces sity to their future welfare, Night is a great blessing to weary ones; and there is no other place on earth, at which to spend it, comparable with home. It is a very bad sign when men are averse to staying at homo after dark. Our mercantile friends will please re member that we are of a bashful disposi tion, and if we do not ask them for ad vertisements it is not because we don t want them.
