Quite a sensation was created at
a circus at. Marquette, Mich., last
week. In the act where» circus
rider, disguised as a drunken
tramp, falls iiito'the ring and wants
to ride a horse, the ringmaster
threw the drunkard out, and, with
much seeming indignation, asked
why there were no policemen
around to keep order. A German
policeman, who was standing by,
and who knew the man belonged to
the circus, felt indignant at having
the polico abused, so he took the
alleged drunken man, and notwith
standing the circus people tried to
explain the circumstances, lie was
hustled off to the lock-up, and the ,
act was left out. After the show |
the proprietor went to the jail and
got the performer out, and abused
tlierpoliceman a little for being so
ollloions. The policeman said: “Veil,
a choke is a eboke, but when a man

Decay of the Teeth
Arises from various causes, but prioci-
pally It may be attributed to early neg
lect or tho indiscriminate use of tooth
powders and pastes, which give a mo

they corrode the enamel. The timely uso
of that delicate aromatic tooth wash, Fra

iho.progress of decay, harden the gnmr,
and impart n delightful fragrance to the
breath, It removes those ravages which

Malaria is an almost in
describable malady which
not even the most talented
physicians are able to fath
om. Its cause is most fre
quently ascribed to local
surroundings, and there is
very little question, but this
opinion is substantiated by
facts. Malaria does not nec
essarily mean chills and
fever while these troubles
usually accompany it. It
often affects the sufferer with
general lassitude, accom
panied by loss of appetite,
sleeplessness, a tired feeling
and a high fever, the per
son afflicted growing weak
er and weaker, loses flesh
day after day, until lie be
comes a mere skeleton, a
shadow of his former self.
