Monday morning, as a negro w’oman
was running to catch the down train at
Leesburg, in order to go to Albany to see

had snatched up a potato before starting
from home, and was eating it while run
ning, it is supposed that she choked to
death.
A Nice Present
Somo tinio ago Col. W. T. Davenport
bought of D. Appleton A Co's agent three
sets cf that Aims cyclopedias, comprising
twenty-six volumes each. They arrived
