The handsome residence of C*pt. P,
C. Clegg, on Lee street, was the scene of
a most happy and Interesting occasion
last evening.
Gathered In the beautifully decorated
parlors were a number of the friends and
relatives of the family, who bad oorae to
witness the marriage of Miss Bee Clegg
to Mr. Lee Allen.
At 830 o’clock the contracting parties
entered the parlors to the inspiring
strains of the wedding march, and tak
ing their position before the officiating “ or ®-
minister, Rev. A. B. Campbell, pro
nounced the vows that will bind them
together as long as Ufa shall last
The ceremony was a most impressive
one, and at Its conclusion Mr. and Mrs.
Allen were the recipients of the besrty
congratulations of all present It was a
beautiful home wedding, and never did
bride look lovelier or handsome groom
more supremely happy than on this oc
casion.
Mr, Lee Allen Is one of Amerious’
most sterling young business men, hav
ing for many years occupied a responsi
ble position in the large clothing estab
lishment of Mr. T. Wheatley in this city.
Energetic and Industrious, be Is held in
high esteem In business circles, and
there is not a more popular young man

Miss Bee, the charming and accom
plished daughter of Capt and Mrs. P. C.
Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Foster, of Plains of
