HELP! HELP! THE LADT FAINTS.
•* 'TIs tho tirlnk of an eye,
TH tho drni»grht of a breath.
From tho blowom of health.
To the paleneis of death."
When sudden fainting spells come
upon a lady, you may always suspect
some uterine disturbances or trouble, or
some great disorder in the circulation and
nerve centers. A remedy that lias al
ways proved successful in warding off and
removing the tendency to a recurrence of
fainting spells—that removes the cause
of them, corrects the circulation of blood,
and gives to the system that even run
ning nervous cneriry so essential, is Dr.
Fierce’s Favorite Prescription.
Tho “Prescription” is guaranteed to
give satisfaction in every case, or money
refunded. Nothing else does 03 much.
You only pay for the good you get.
Can you ink more?
As a regulator raid promoter of func
tional action, at the critical period of
change from girlhood to womanhood,
‘‘Favorite Prescription" is a perfectly
safe remedial agent, and can produce
only good results. It is equally effica
cious and valuable in its effects when
taken for those disorders and derange
ments inch' nt to that later nud most
critical pci .'ad. known us “Tho change
of Life.”
This is the way
with the Ball corset: if you
want ease and shapeliness,
you buy it—but you don’t
keep it unless you like it.
After two or three weeks’
wear, you can return it and
have your money.
Comfort isn’t all of it
though. Soft Eyelets, and
“bones” that can’t break or
kink—Ball’s corsets have
both of these.

“If ever you marry,” said an old gen

who has judgment enough to superin
tend the getting of a meal, taste euough
to dress herself, pride enough to wash
her face, and sense enough to use Dr.
Pierce’s Favorite Prescription whenever
she needs it.” The experience of the
aged lias shown the “Favorite Prescrip
tion” to be the best for the cure of ail
female weaknesses and derangements.
Good sense is shown by getting tho rem
edy from your druggist, and using it

Charles Stewart Parnell, writes a letter
to the press in which she expresses her
disbelief in the sincerity of Liberalist

The Kaiser has given his sanction to
the chuuges proposed by the war office
in the appearance and equipment of the
German army. The chief object sought
to be achieved is the exchange of bright
colors that attract the aim of au enemy
for hues that will make the soldier a
less conspicuous target, while leather
accoutrements are abolished and the
heavy spiked helmet is abolished for
lighter headgear. The changes when
fleeted will almost entirely transform
the appearance of the German troops.
