A Correction.
The TiMEs-REConuEB wishes to cor
roct the impression which may have
been conveyed in the issue of Thursday
last concerning the Twelfth Georgia
Regiment. From the article in question
it may have been inferred that the call
by the committee was directed to the
whole regiment, whereas it was only in
tended to reach those members of it
who belonged to Company A.
Messrs. Jno. B. Felder, H. T. Daven
port and J. A. Ansley are veterans from
old Company A , and it is to their for
mer comrades that an appeal is directed
for a reunion of the command.

in thes days of cumercial aktivity, when each stor shad sho an
attempt 2 keepin np 2 the methods and posibilites of the times, let a
firm hav the nowledge of how 2 by—let them hav the pink 2 plan im-
provments—let them hav the energy to kpry them out and n wil do
wel 2 let them havyor trade.
A yer ago ther wer the remains of an engin hous on the korner of
Lee and Lamar streets. 2 dan hav forgoten the engin hous—you
rarely cal the plas othr than the Rtezen Korner. Wat has ohanged
it? Nothin’ but pluk an’ energy.
Pink and energy hav ohanged it bom barenes 2 buty, fild it with
stok which snrprisd u for komprehensivnes. 2 da it is 8 times os
large as then—it is stil growin. A yer ago fa had herd of Butler &
Berry. 2da ther are few among the readin public 2 whom ther names
hav not a familer jingle, and ther r fn among the tradin public who do
not oonsider the names Butler & Berry synonimns with ‘ekonomy and
sqnarnes.’
800 yers ago Shaksper said, “All men hav ther prices,” but had he
lived in Americus 2da he wad hav also told u who had the cheapest
prices. Then it takes no Shaksper to realies that if a firm, iosted o
bying smal qnantites at larg prices, will by larg quantiles 2 get smal
prices, tha can esily lower your expenses. Pink and energy an yor
own ideas of eeonomy hav made the Rtezen Korner hedquarters for
everything from a tea onp to dinner set—from a tin pan 2 a stov. A
yer ago this week the front dors of onr stor wer thron open, an we
wsted 4 the strangers 2 earn in, Since then we hav wated on u. We
feel that we r no longer Btrangers—that u no ns Rtezrn Korner folks—
that we no u, and ho yor wants, and just as we invited n a yer ago we
invite n to enm and C ns during onr “anaversary week.”
If yonr tastes r esthetic cum, we’ll sho u the bntifnl. If n apre-
ciate the meohanioal cum, we’ll sho n improvments. If yor notions r
ekonomical enm, we'll tell prices. If n r sociable enm, we’ll b glad 2 0
u often, an any tune from now till our next anaversary week, and then
we 11 invite u again;
